I am working in partnership with an award winning Digital Transformation client based in London and Leeds. They are opening an office in Edinburgh and so looking for an ambitious lead technical consultant. This role has scope to grow an agile team of consultants and work on an international scale. Your role will be to define technical solutions with clients within the financial sector and to advise on implementation options. To do so effectively you will be tasked with gathering requirements and work closely with technical and non-technical teams.In terms of requirements, the ideal candidate would be able to offer a range of skills. However rather than just regurgitate the Job description, the client has highlighted to me some key skills they are looking for.OOP - Although this role will not require hands on coding, experience with the likes of Java, Python, C++, etc would beneficial. As the role will involve working on E2E solutions, from design to delivery. Experience - A strong background in the financial industry (Fintech, Pension, Insurance, wealth management or asset management), would be benefical for the role. As my client is looking to grow the existing client base within the financial industry. Stakeholder Management - Due to this organisation working on projects on Enterprise scales, you will be required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.Agile background - Working with an Agile methodology aids the delivery of a successful solution. Therefore experience working in an Agile environment is an essential requirement for the role.
