Brand new opportunity with expanding company in the film and broadcast sector based in Central Bristol for a talented C/C++ Software Engineer.

The successful Software Engineers will join an established team of Engineers working on C++ in both embedded and Mac/Windows/Linux GUI application space.

Applicants should have 3yrs + industry experience and be highly proficient in C++ & C with significant Linux, Mac OS X or UNIX development experience and extensive experience with multi process or threaded applications. You should have a detailed understanding of object-oriented design, extensive experience with complex data structures and a wide understanding of OS architecture. Knowledge of python, GUI development (Qt preferred), network programming experience, Linux / UNIX / Windows kernel development experience and RTOS embedded development are all beneficial.

This is a product centric environment, fast paced with rapid development cycles. You will be expected to work independently in a creative, informal environment. You should be a strong individual contributor, great communicator, highly technical, enthusiastic & self motivated.

This role could suit a Senior Engineer possibly looking for a path towards technical leadership or it may suit someone a bit more junior (3yrs+) seeking something really exciting.
