A growing company is seeking a Helpdesk Account Manager to join its team based in Portsmouth. The role is to work with all internal teams including, infrastructure, sales, development and finance teams to provide effective customer service and to grow and exceed revenue for the business. This is a hybrid role providing both technical and client service management for a software and telecoms company offering services to call centres in the UK. This post has no direct supervisory responsibility, but the job holder is expected to collaborate and communicate with stakeholders across the business in order to best serve the growth objectives of the business.
As a Helpdesk Account Manager your duties will include:
Building and maintaining commercially sustainable relationships where you will be the first point of contact for clients experiencing issues and requests via the portal, phone or email.Recording, monitoring and remaining responsible for incident and request tickets in the Service Management tool.Supporting and managing projects alongside the sales team to capture and validate customer requirements for both new and existing clients.Supporting the onboarding process with technical/operational guidance for sales.Building and maintaining commercially sustainable relationships. Representing the company at industry events and attending new business meetings where technical assistance is sought.Delivering client-facing training as part of the on-boarding process and/or as a refresher face to face or remotely as required.
To be a successful Helpdesk Account Manager you will have the following skills and experience:
Commercially savvy with the desire to problem solve and troubleshoot.Excellent customer service where you get a sense of achievement from aiding client’s delivery of service to the highest level. Business profitability and growth at the forefront of your decision making.Educated to ‘GCSE’ level standard or equivalent is essential.1st/2nd Line Technical Support/ Service Desk is essential.ITIL V3 Foundation is desired.              
You will be required to work an 8-hour rota shift pattern - Mondays to Fridays and some Saturdays.In return, the Helpdesk Account Manager will receive a salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum DOE.To apply for this Helpdesk Account Manager role, click apply and upload a copy of your CV.
