Data Developer / Engineer London to £80k Data Developer / Engineer (Linux Python ETL). Would you like to work on complex, technically challenging systems within a supportive, technology driven environment that promotes innovation and ownership? You'll be based in fantastic offices in a vibrant area of North London with in-house gym and steam room, games room with pool tables and dart boards, library and free high quality catering (breakfast, lunch, dinner) from the onsite chef. As a Data Developer / Engineer you will take ownership; building and maintaining high performance, scalable data streaming pipelines and distributed querying technologies using AWS. You will influence the technical designs and lead the technical delivery of analytics platforms within a collaborative, small team environment. As a senior member of the team you will collaborate with business stakeholders ensuring clear lines of communication across the full development lifecycle. There's a strong pipeline of projects including a Cloud migration; Machine Learning modelling, Big Data deployments and a real-time analytics platform. Requirements: Experience of building distributed, high performance data pipelines Strong knowledge of Linux OS Strong Python coding skills (will also consider Scala or Java)
Strong ETL experience Good working knowledge of Docker and container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes, Rancher and ECS Familiar with Cloud technologies (AWS preferred) Excellent communication skills; comfortable liaising with stakeholders across the business As a Data Developer / Engineer you will earn a competitive salary (to £80k) plus benefits.
