SAP Support Consultant - SC or DV Preferred

My client is looking for a SAP Support Technical Consultant to work on an exciting project within the defence sector.

The candidate would ideally have an active SC or DV clearance but candidates without will still be considered and will be put through the SC clearance process.

The role is outside of IR35 and will require occasional travel to Sellafield.

Role description:

The SAP Support Technical consultant must therefore have the technical skills and adaptability to work across the traditional SAP NetWeaver technical platform and across a broad range of components and technologies. This must include providing SAP Technical Consultancy into business as usual SAP Customer Support and SAP Project based activity as required.

Within SAP Support provide SAP technical expertise in the support and troubleshooting of complex SAP technical solutions and their integration into the wider IT environment e.g. network, operating system and database including highly available components.

Essential Skills:

*Experience with support of SAP Component (SAP NetWeaver) across multiple operating systems and databases to include Unix variants, Windows Server and Oracle RDBMS. This includes troubleshooting, daily checks, issue handling, application of SAP Notes and support pack application.

*SAP technical configuration and system administration expertise across multiple SAP components including both AS-ABAP and AS-Java based systems. This should include experience across SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP PI and SAP Enterprise Portal.

*Experience in SAP Database administration (Oracle RDBMS) including tuning, backup and restore.
