Linux Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer (RedHat Satellite Linux Storage). Would you like to gain valuable knowledge of financial trading systems whilst enjoying an informal atmosphere with a good work life balance, casual dress code and modern, open plan offices?
As a Linux Engineer at this City based trading firm you will join the team responsible for availability, security and performance for all areas related to Linux servers and storage systems. You'll manage the day to day operations for Linux operating systems, server hardware and virtual environments as well as managing the SAN storage system operations.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of Linux OS
RedHat Satellite experience
Scripting skills (e.g. PowerShell, Python)
Experience with SAN storage
Collaborative team member with excellent communication skills
Natural problem solver, organised and logical
Likely to be degree educated although this is not essential
As a Linux Engineer you can expect to earn a highly competitive salary (to £80k) plus benefits.
