IT Software Support (South Manchester)SQL / Web Systems
£18,000 - £24,000 + bonus
Interaction IT have partnered up with a leading software business in South Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1-2 years commercial experience in IT support, looking to move and progress their own career into a 1st and 2nd line support role. You will provide technical and software support to a number of key customers across the UK and internationally.
Key responsibilities:
· You will manage email and telephony support requests via a helpdesk ticketing system
· You will provide technical support preferably within web systems and browsers
· Be experienced within an IT support role and working knowledge of Windows and Windows based desktop applications including SQL, Linux, Office 365 and software technology
· You will be able to work on your own initiative or under direction from senior staff.
· You will actively seek and share knowledge to resolve IT problems and adapt to new situations
· You will take ownership of your own work load and work to meet realistic deadlines
· To be successful, you will also have excellent customer service and communication skills
To be successful in this role, you must have a solid customer service background within an IT discipline.
