Job Description
As an Insight Controller within the Data Intelligence team, you'll help drive decision making using the power of data and insights:Developing relationships with stakeholders to reach a deep understanding of initiativesUnderstanding the commercial opportunities that exist to improve the way we make decisions with better insightsDesigning and implementing insights roadmaps with your stakeholders to improve the way they make decisionsLeading a small team to produce high quality, actionable insights - using your own efforts as an individual contributor, your team, and matrix resourcesProviding expert guidance to maximise the use of analytics or research to drive business actionStrategic reviews of our portfolios and providing Executive level recommendations based on emerging trends
SkillsSenior Stakeholder Management: Candidate must have an excellent and proven track record of having established successful business relationships with stakeholders at Head of Level and Director. Evidence of influencing, engage with, and responding to senior stakeholders with credibility.Excellent commercial skills: Able to produce and articulate commercial strategy with highly aware stakeholders.Insight Experience: Candidate must have deep and extensive experience in managing end-to-end Insights roadmaps covering research, customer analytics and decisioning.Analytical Experience: Candidate must have a strong analytical background to drive new innovative ideas to solving challenges with acquisition and retention.Team Leadership: Track record of managing individuals to understand and deliver complex solutions in your own team and across an internal matrix.Working in a dynamic environment: Enjoys working in an innovative and creative environment. Able to deliver big picture benefits and make careful and swift prioritisation calls.High levels of logical thinking & problem-solving skills. Able to deal with complex problems using innovative and industry leading techniques.Strong programming experience utilising, SQL, SAS or equivalent packages.
Industry ExperienceExperience of a using data and insights in a large-scale consumer retail business. Examples are media, telco, financial services, gaming.
