Job summary and Responsibilities Essex County Council is undergoing the largest transformation programme of its kind in the UK and technology is recognised as being strategically critical to this innovative and radical transformation. Technology Services is at the forefront of delivering this technological change.

This role involves delivering critical business change through innovative process implementation within the Mosaic social care system, across Adult and Children's social care. Working as an integral part of ECC's Mosaic support team, the candidate will be responsible for analysing business requirements, developing form & workflow solutions and experience in with the Mosaic finance module would be beneficial. The role involves working closely with colleagues in Adults, Children's and Finance teams, requiring the candidate toá demonstrate strong customer focus.

Main Duties Extensive experience of designing and developing Mosaic forms & workflow
Mosaic form / Java scripting
Knowledge of Adult and Families business processes
Analysis of business requirements and translation in to system designs
Knowledge of developing financial packages within Mosaic is highly desirable
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with colleagues within Technical
Services and customers in Adult, Children's and Finance areas.
Acts as guide and point of reference for the technical staff in the team, providing advice, support and expertise.
Function as subject matter expert on key project delivery tasks, ensuring that the solution implemented fully meets the
intended business requirements.
Provide expert guidance to Project Managers and other interested parties in terms of realistic timescales and costs
associated with proposed project delivery items and to proactively identify and communicate technical constraints and risks.
Use analytical skills and expertise to identify innovative solutions to achieve efficiency savings for IS and the business. Knowledge, skills and experience The kind of experience you might bring

Extensive experience of designing and developing Mosaic forms & workflow
Graduate degree in Computer Science or related field, or substantial industry experience.
Strong evidence of continuous personal and professional development
Substantial technical skills and expertise complemented by strong analytical ability.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience of communicating effectively with a wide range of people; consulting experience desirable. Evidence of team management ability.
Highly self-motivated, able to maintain focus in a busy environment, plus exemplary team working skills.
Experience of working in a customer support team or service desk in a fast paced environment, ability to work to targets and deadlines.
