PMO Scheduler (SC)

My client urgently requires an SC PMO Scheduler to be based at the client site near to Newcastle.

The Project Scheduler is to join our team in support of our government client Program Management Office (PMO). The Master Project Scheduler assists nationally located Project Managers in schedule organization and execution of multiple Programmes and Projects, acting as a "Master Scheduler" for the PMO.

Required Qualifications

*Master's Degree or equivalent is required, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in performing project management activities, specifically project scheduling and management.

*Ability to conduct analytic assessments of work plans and progress reports and identify strengths and weaknesses.

*Ability to work collaboratively with all team members, and be proactive in organizing PMO outreach to PMs to gather and report on schedule critical information.

*Excellent written and oral communication skills.

*Familiar with Microsoft office suite of programs, especially MS PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Word.

*Ability to travel on occasion; travel is less than 40% for this position.
