Every now and then I get to work with one of the giants of their market, and today is one of those days. Multinational, multi-cultural and with some significant clout this technology business are looking for a Semiconductor Buyer to join their global procurement team in Reutlingen, Germany. This isn't your standard purchasing position, not because the business is great (although they are..) but because it is hugely varied. They believe in flat hierarchies and as such you'll get involved in project, strategic, operational and technical purchasing. Both handling day to day procurement activities and acting as an internal partner to their engineering function, you can expect an interesting challenge.The working environment is positive, with everyone on a first name basis. You can expect to be trusted to work independently once you've settled in and got to grips with their ways of working.
