Java Developer (Senior) London to £100k

Java Developer (REST API HTTP AWS DevOps). Fantastic opportunity for a talented Java Developer to join a brand new team within a global media company where you will be tackling a broad range of interesting technical challenges and working on a highly complex sports data and live streaming platform.

As a Java Developer you will be taking ownership of a number of interesting Greenfield projects, delivering low latency and live data to a range of global clients. You will be working alongside a close knit team of developers, utilising a broad technology stack that includes Hazelcast, Guava and Jackson and will be making your own deployments to the cloud (AWS and Google App Engine).

With offices based in central London, you will be joining a friendly technology driven company where you will be given continuous support to help you progress within your career.

Requirements:

Strong core Java backend experience

Experience building REST APIs

Knowledge of Cloud technologies such as AWS and Google Cloud

Experience with Hazelcast or similar

Understanding of DevOps (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)

Excellent communication skills
