Linux Systems Administrator

West London

£50,000 - £55,000

A global leading organisation is currently recruiting for a Linux Administrator to join the IT department to provide high level technical support for the IT infrastructure, provisioning, planning, installation and operation. As the Linux Administrator you will be joining at an exciting time as the business in currently in a transition period and with this change the IT systems need to mature to match the new requirements. As the Linux administrator you will have a voice on future strategy and systems going in place to support the business.

Required:

*Experience with Linux operating systems

*Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft operating systems, computer networks, network administration

*Maintaining backups and backup strategy as systems evolve

*Analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications

*3rd Line support experience

*Documenting and educating staff on new systems

Desirable:

*Experience with working within with ITIL and ISO frameworks

*An ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints

*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

*Ability to explain complex systems in simple terms
