An innovative and high growth technology-driven car park management company is looking for an IT Change Analyst to join its team in Chorley. From less than 10 members of staff in 2004, it now has a workforce of 350 and has grown from its humble beginnings to become the leading Automated Number Plate Recognition car park management company in the UK. This role compromises scrum coordination, administration and traditional Project PMO responsibilities. The role mainly supports the Scrum Development team but will also be called upon to support other projects. As an IT Change Analyst, your responsibilities will include:Providing administration support for the Solutions Delivery Manager (who runs the Development Team).Preparing and scheduling Scrum meetings and ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Sprint Demos and Sprint Retrospectives. Potentially also running Scrum meetings as cover.Working with the Solutions Delivery Manager to administer backlog and update priorities.Maintaining the non-Software Development portfolio.Assisting Project Managers in project planning.Developing, implementing and updating project resource allocations plans, taking account availability. To be a successful IT Change Analyst, you will have the following skills and experiences:
To be an expert in estimation and planning with the ability to create reliable and practical plans for software development projects.To be familiar with reporting and metrics including Scrum development and testing such as burndown metrics and velocity.Experience in the PMO administration role and experience working with and supporting a group of Project Managers.Knowledge/experience of Prince 2, Scrum Master, Jira, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office and Excel is beneficial but is not essential.To be an excellent coach in Scrum practices and separately Project Management practices.
