Role: Software Developer - Java

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum + benefits

Location: York

Hours: 37.5 per week

Essential Skills:

*Java/JavaJ2EE including Springboot

*JavaScript / HTML / CSS (JQuery, Angular, React, Bootstrap)

*Linux/ Tomcat/ Docker

*Oracle, PostgreSQL

The role:

You will be responsible for providing solutions to complex engineering tasks by developing software alongside the software team, in addition to designing and implementing technical solutions within a team atmosphere. The products and solutions you develop will consistently meet the high standards of the company and be completed within the deadline provided.

Day to day responsibilities:

*Develop code to implement designs

*Compliment strategic objectives of the business by developing design based on simple requirements

*Develop wider systems with a team of developers

*Work in both agile and V Model Development lifecycles

*Produce and maintain design and specification documents

*Evaluate new technologies as they arise

*Other ad-hoc duties

You will need:

*Experience of systems and software development

*Strong mathematical expertise

*The ability to produce excellent written material

*Extensive knowledge of development tools to support the lifecycle of products

*Good communication skills
