Application Architect

As the technical architect, you'll be responsible for managing an application migration from one network to another, ensuring all parts of the Technical project run smoothly.

Essential to understand all aspects of each application, from both a business and technical point of view. This means having a full working knowledge of technologies such as:

*Dynamics (Must Have)

*SQL Server 2016

*Server 2016

*Oracle

*Web Applications

*Interfacing of applications, ODBC, Hyperlinks, SSIS, SMTP, xml, JDBC

*Hyper V

*Microsoft Azure

*Networking.

*Proven record of time spent liaising with clients from different backgrounds, from management to designers and developers.

Some of the main tasks you can expect to be involved in include:

* Breaking down large scale applications into manageable chunks

* Provide guidance on which IT products to use.

* Agreeing plans with the client

* Explaining to designers and developers what's required and overseeing the progress

* Migration of applications.

* Advise the client on managing future application needs

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
