Software Tester / QA Test Engineer (Manual Automation Agile JIRA Confluence). Would like to work on complex data centric systems and improve your knowledge of financial markets as well as test automation techniques?

City based Investment Management firm with multi-billion dollars under management is seeking a bright, motivated Software Tester to join a multi-functional Scrum development team working on a Greenfield project to build a new client order management system.

You'll work across the full technology stack testing, designing and executing tests from the story level features and taking a pragmatic, common sense approach to exploratory testing to identify and resolve errors, taking ownership and accountability for issues raised. You will also gain exposure to automated testing, working with the Test Manager to identify appropriate areas for automation; there will be approximately 20% automation initially, growing to around 50% as the role progresses.

Requirements:

Experience of testing enterprise scale financial, data centric systems; must have experience gained in an Asset Management / OTC trading environment

Strong manual testing experience, ideally ISEB / ISTQB certified

Test automation experience (any technology)

Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, translate high level information into detail and distinguish blocking bugs from nice to have improvements

Experience of working in an Agile team

Flexible and able to work on multiple concurrent projects

Excellent communication skills
