Exciting role on offer for a Technical Support Manager looking for a varied and autonomous role where you will represent this expanding global business and travel across to Central and South America training regional distributors whilst being classed as the UKs technical expert.

Do you have an engineering background ideally within mechanical engineering, plumbing, refrigeration, thermodynamics, water treatment, heating, cooling or anything closely associated? Do you have electro mechanical knowledge? Are you fluent in Spanish?

This market leading company design, manufacture and distribute their products across 50 countries worldwide. They employ over 1600 employees worldwide and have a great reputation across many industries that is built on the quality of their engineers and products they supply. They have recently acquired two of their main competitors and are now looking to grow the business further. They have ambitious plans to grow their distribution network across Central and South America and are therefore establishing a new structure and are now looking recruit a dedicated Regional Technical Manager to support the development of new and existing distributor partners in the region.

In this role you will report to the Operations Director who is based in the UK. You will be instrumental in providing all the necessary technical training and support to successfully establish new distributors and provide first level technical support and technical issue resolution for new and existing distributor partners. This role requires you to be out of the office typically 1 week in 4 where you will travel to Central & South America.

This role would therefore ideally suit a Spanish speaking Technical Support Manager with electro mechanical skills and is looking for their next challenge to become the technical expert and hold a highly autonomous and responsible role and to work for a well-established, exciting and growing manufacturing company.

The Role:

* Technical Support Manager

* Provide technical training to existing and new distributor partners

* Provide expert technical advice / support

* Route Management

* 25% travel to Central & South America - Expenses Fully Paid (Travel usually Monday to Friday)

* £50,000 - £55,000 + Bonus (OTE £60k) + 25 Days Holiday + Pension + Worldwide Travel

The Person:

* Technical Support Manager

* Must speak fluent Spanish

* Must have an engineering background

* Must have experience of providing technical training

* Have a full driving license

* Happy to travel over 25% outside of the UK
