The organisation in question are based in Kilkenny and they are keen to recruit experienced Fullstack Developers. The company I am recruiting for is keen to speak to applicants with a background in Microsoft .NET technologies. You'll be working on cutting edge projects, primarily enterprise in scale. As a Software Developer, you'll be working with both internal and external teams whilst acting as a technical escalation point for project issues. You'll also be given a voice, encouraged to research and suggest new technologies if you feel they'd be more suitable for the respective solution. As an organisation, they are heavily Agile and your role will see you adopting a range of Agile methodologies as well as modern software development processes including CI/CD, DevOps and Test Driven Development (TDD). Agile experience is specifically important so any previous experience acting as a Scrum Master would be additionally beneficial. In terms of the specific candidate requirements, rather than simply regurgitating the job description, I wanted to highlight a few key areas below: Tech Stack - a background in Microsoft (ASP.NET MVC, C#, .NET Core) is preferred, but any experience with wider languages/frameworks such as Python and Scala is also beneficial. The team has a 'true tech attitude' and like to hire people who aren't just confined/limited to a single technology area. In return, you will benefit from an above market-rate salary (EUR45,000 - EUR60,000), varied benefits package and the opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies in an Agile environment. Moreover, you will be given a tailored 'T-shaped' progression route, with opportunities to move into Project Management, Development Management and Software Architecture later on down the line.
