Data Engineer - Talend - Manchester - 5-6 Months

My client in Manchester is seeking a Data Engineer for a 5-6 Month contract to work in their Data Integration Team. You will be working with Product and tech colleagues within the business and focus on the collection and provision of thousands of data points concerning the clients products and customers.

You will embrace a culture of innovation in how Data is used, from Data Ingestion, storage management and process management to create customer specific personalised solutions.

You will work as part of the Data Integration team to develop Data Pipelines using Talend ETL ((ideally version 6.x). You will identify, design and implement internal process improvements to optimise data delivery and work closely with the Data DevOps team to ensure the design is suitable for performance and scalability whilst following best practices for communication, documenting and testing.

Candidates for this role must bring with them:

*Strong experience as a Data Engineer building Data Pipelines

*Talend (ideally version 6.x or above)

*SQL

*Version Control tools

*Agile methodologies
