Senior Software EngineerResponsibilities:Designing and implementing great new features using microservice designWorking as an integral part of our core teamConverting legacy components into modern microservicesMaintaining, monitoring, and alert management of our existing servicesRequired skills and experience:NodeJS and NPMJava or similar Object Oriented programming languageRelational Database experience (MySQL preferred)Experience with Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat, or CentOS preferred)Experience with version control (GIT preferred)Optional skills and experience:4 years or more commercial developmentAWS experience/certificationDegree in Computer Science or related disciplineExperience with Message queues (RabbitMQ/SNS preferred)Containers (Docker), Virtualisation and DevOps experienceNo-SQL Database experience (DynamoDB, MongoDB preferred)Java Spring LibraryJPA, JTA, HibernateExperience with a Java Servlet Container (Tomcat preferred)C++Agile/Scrum
