I am working in partnership with an award winning Digital Transformation client based in London. They are looking for a Business Consultant to work as an embedded function within their client delivery team. The role will involve working with Retail, Financial and Healthcare clients, each requiring a unique solution.This role will have a strong focus on working with clients in the financial services industry to define the business solution that meets their needs. To do so you will work with both technical and non-technical teams and advise the client on implementation options. Due to this role involving heavy client facing responsibilities, travel to client site is required 2-3 days a week. Goes without saying all travel and hotel expenses are covered.In terms of requirements, the ideal candidate would be able to offer a range of skills. However rather than just regurgitate the Job description, the client has highlighted to me some key skills they are looking for.Experience - A strong background in the financial industry (Fintech, Pension, Insurance, wealth management or asset management).Stakeholder Management - Due to this organisation working on projects on various scales, you will be required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.Agile background - Working with an Agile methodology aids the delivery of a successful solution. Therefore experience working in an Agile environment is an essential requirement for the role. Any Agile related certifications/qualification would be desirable, but not essential. Communication - The ability to relay information to technical and non-technical stakeholders within the business is essential.
