My client is looking for a security cleared Maritime Engineer to work on an exciting project within the defence sector.
The task:
To provide the engineering advice to support the drive for improved availability of the Towed Array systems on all classes of UK Submarine.
The role provides technical suppport to the Towed Array Improvement Project Manager, including, but not limited to;
a) Provision of technical advice to the Towed Array Improvement PM to identify areas to improve the availability of Towed Array systems on UK Submarines.
b) Liaison with the various contractors contributing to the overall Towed Array System
c) Technical Assessment of proposed improvements from contractors
d) Monitor progress of the improvement programme from a technical perspective, including the rectification of operational defects onboard platforms as required.
The key part is having experience of Towed Array Systems.
