Technical BA (Senior Consultant Job Purpose: This is a Business Analyst & Project Management role within the Rates Technology Team based in London, working on the build-out of the pricing platforms with a focus on emerging markets FX Fwds/Swaps, IR Swaps, Bonds and IR derivatives. Key Responsibilities:                                                                        Close interaction with Traders and Quants to understand new requirements for applications across the platform, specifically focussed on Pricing and Distribution.                                                                        Clearly document requirements, roadmap to delivery and also actively participate in solution design.                                                                        Project Manage delivery of large scale projects by working with various stakeholders (across multiple technology teams and business heads).                                                                        Ad-hoc and on-desk support of the production systems (a dedicated 24h support team handles 1st line). Knowledge/Experience:                                                                        At least 8-10 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.                                                                        Excellent knowledge of Rates & Foreign Exchange products.                                                                        Knowledge of Emerging Markets and their peculiarities, nuances is preferable.                                                                        Excellent project management capabilities.  Demonstrate expertise on delivering medium-large global projects to traders without time/cost overruns.                                                                        PMP or equivalent relevant project management certification.                                                                        Recent experience leading an electronic trading Technology Team.                                                                        Self-starting individual with experience of working in a desk facing role. Skills:                                                                        Quantitative understanding of the FXLM or G10 Rates trading business or related areas (e.g. Equities high frequency trading)                                                                        Intermediate/Expert on Agile development platforms.  Conversant with the development lifecycle and tools used (e.g. JIRA, Kanban, Scrum boards etc.)                                                                        Expert Excel skills with VBA.                                                                        Proficiency with MS Project or equivalent project management software and approaches.                                                                        Intermediate/Expert on financial market calculations (e.g. FX, interest rates, NPV, Bond Pricing etc.)
