Network Architect - Basingstoke - initial 3-month contractAn internationally recognised IT outsourcing company are seeking talented Network Architects of all levels to join them. Working with Solution owners the role of Network Architect will bring you closer to the latest technology, in a fast-paced environment on ground braking solutions. The company prides itself on its people and you will be able to learn and grow; designing documentation across a variety of network solutions.The role requires a national security clearance however the company will consider candidates not holding this clearance.Role:Provide support to the Programme and Project Managers, delivering designs within the Transition and Migration projects. Support the Lead Architect defining designs in line with requirements.You will own the HLD and LLD in key areas, ensure designs are fit for purpose. Liaising with Architects conforming to the overall WAN plan.Contribute with input to reports where needed, 3rd party technical deliverables and impact assessments on change requests.Essential Skills:The company are looking for demonstrable expertise and understanding with CISCO, JUNIPER and BROCADE, including associated:Firewalls, Routing/Network protocols and TCP/UDP protocolsIP Address/VPN designSNMPv3, Syslog and NTP designAAA designTroubleshooting and Remote Access solutions.Along with experience in the proposal and design in utilising the above.Juniper and Cisco accreditation will also be essential.Desirable Skills:The company would also be intrigued by any experience in:Software Defined Network solutions.VMware NSXDHCP/Active DirectoryVirtualised Infrastructure
