Job DescriptionOur client is an American multinational information technology company, with operations in over 170 countries and is one of the most prestige companies in the world. As an Application Architect we are looking for some who has strong experience of designing/developing WebApps using modern Single Page App (SPA) frameworks that interact with REST APIs. They should therefore have a deep understanding of JavaScript, NPM, React (or similar), and approaches for modularising CSS (such as CSS in JS).Application Architect Requirements Experienced with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ideally AngularJS) and responsive designExcitement about emerging web technologies and how to progressively use them in projects.Experience working in a DevOps environment e.g Agile, TDD, CI, GitFamiliar with using a task runner e.g. Gulp/Grunt.Good understanding of Web Accessibility.Strong Java skills (ideally Java 1.8), Spring Boot, Maven, Git, DevOps tooling. TDD, CI, agile experience preferred Desirable (non-essential requirements): Knowledge of message queuing (ideally RabbitMQ) Elastic Search (or SOLR) Experience with architectural design/microservicesStrong experience of designing/developing WebAppsDesirable (non-essential requirements) ReactBootstrapExperience using CSS naming conventions, particularly BEM and ITCSS.
