They leverage cutting edge scale-out solutions in cloud, AI/ML, IoT/edge and large-scale enterprise analytics to help our customers make informed decisions. They're small but experienced team with diverse backgrounds in the defence/security, analytics, and cloud computing space and looking to expand their team in Edinburgh.I am looking for hiring software engineers who can produce efficient and functional web-based software services to solve complex analytics problems. If you are an exceptional developer and who loves to push the boundaries to solve complex customer problems using innovative solutions, then we would like to talk to you Core Skill SetExperience integrating big data opensource technologies using modern architecture patternsProficiency in server-side development using Python, Java and JavaScriptProficiency in related SW development, collaboration and testing tool suiteExperience in distributed computing frameworks and application developmentStrong experience in architecting and implementing in both batch and streaming / real-time big data pipelinesExperience with structured relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Hive on Object Storage)Experience with NoSQL/unstructured data and object stores (KV Stores, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, S3, Minio)Hands-on development experience using Public Cloud IaaS (Azure, AWS)Experience working within a Linux computing environment and use of command line tools including knowledge of shell/Python scripting for automating common tasks Desirable ExperienceKnowledge of statistics and Machine Learning technologies on cloud-based platform (Hadoop, Spark, H2O, Tensorflow)Application development in the context of the big data / analytics space Salary - £50,000 EducationBachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics or related technical degreeMasters (optional)

They're offering a 6% pension with an 8% annual bonus scheme that can go all the way up to 50% depending on personal can company performance.
