Network Manager - up to £45k plus good benefits scheme

A well established, leading retail organisation are looking to recruit a Network Manager to join their current IT team, based in Letchworth, Hertfordshire. This role may suit a Network Engineer, with experience of dealing with suppliers and looking for a step up to management level. With a strong background in supporting, maintaining and implementing networking solutions, the Network Manager's responsibilities will include managing the day to day network systems and delivering the global WAN strategy.

Skills / Environment

*Around 5+ years' experience in a Network Support / Network Engineering role working in or supporting WAN services.

*MPLS and VPN technologies and design, data centre networking, Azure, Routing, Switching, WLAN

*IP address management and name resolution

*Software defined networking and cloud connectivity technologies

*IT hosting and Infrastructure platforms

*Strong supplier management experience

Role Overview

*Deployment of network infrastructure including build, configuration and security

*Contribute to and execute the network technology roadmap ensuring alignment with business requirements

*Manage network partners and providers

*Participate in network projects to meet pre-defined objectives

*Ensuring that the network is able to facilitate any system migrations to and subsequent operation on cloud-based services

The Network Manager will occasionally be required to be available outside of office hours, depending on projects and tasks.

Salary: to £45k

Benefits: 20 days paid holiday which will rise to 25 days after 3 years continuous service, Company pension scheme, Life assurance (3 x Salary), Staff discount
