An exciting career opportunity is available for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a well-established company based in Reading who are specialists in high tech automated hardware for multiple industries. This role will give you the chance to work on and with some really cutting edge equipment.Our client requires a Senior Electrical Design Engineer who has 5+ years' experience in electrical design and is looking for the opportunity to increase their knowledge programming PLC systems. The variation in technical challenges will allow you to both broaden your technical expertise and maintain that enjoyment of solving new problems and challenges which keeps work always feeling fresh. You will be working in interesting and continually evolving sectors.You would be working on various projects alongside a highly skilled team which fosters internal and continuous development. This will give you the opportunity to progress your PLC programming and control systems experience.A cradle - grave Electrical Design Engineer with 5+ years' experience using AutoCAD, Solidworks or other will ideally suit this role. You will be required to travel around 10% of the time primarily the USA & Far East to complete and commission larger projects.This role offers a salary of £30,000 - £45,000 depending on the value you can bring to the business.You would also benefit from continual professional development which will ensure you keep up to date with industry and technological changes.
