5G RF Systems Architect

The 5G RF Systems Architect Engineer will become a driving force in an RF Systems Engineering team in Reading, UK, influencing design direction in relation to 5G telecommunications products and motivating other members of the RF team.

The position is ideal for a Principal RF Engineer; however, a Senior RF Engineer will also be considered.The technology will be related to 5G communications, integrating transceiver ICs and components into a new product solution for the company. Communication with 5G stakeholders and 3rd parties will make up a large portion of this position.

On a day to day basis, the 5G RF Systems Architect will contribute to:

- Design Reviews- Product Evaluation- RF Component Selection- RF System Modelling- Transceiver Integration- RF Measurements- Knowledge of Antenna Design.- Knowledge of 5G Systems- Knowledge of Telecommunication StandardsRequired Skills:- BSc / MSc / PhD qualified- Proven experience in Wireless Systems design, Link Budgets and Subsystem integration.

Desired Skills:- Knowledge of Antenna Design.- Knowledge of 5G Systems- Knowledge of Telecommunication Standards
