Role Overview:

+ Reporting to the HCM Practice Manager, the successful candidate will support the development of the practice, be responsible for the delivery of HCM projects and be the champion and "go-to" person for any HCM opportunity. You will support the team to embrace an expanding HCM practice alongside SAP's growing portfolio of products in the SAP HCM arena that mirror the go-to-market messages of SAP
+ Support the growth and capability of the HCM team 
+ Be acknowledged as the subject matter expert with regard to HCM including; scoping, solution design, configuration, installation, integration and support
+ Act as HCM subject matter expert and ambassador in developing and maintaining relationships with client executives, suppliers and wider company teams. Work closely with Technical Architects and Product Owners to translate business needs into effective solutions and processes. Support business development activities, working with our sales teams in proposal generation, shaping solution plan and delivery approach
+ Train / Coach / Mentor team members
+ Conduct requirement workshop with the business to gather, define and document the business process
+ Carry out a detailed design, including the facilitation of workshops and defining a solution for the detail design 
- Documentation of design and solution
- Capability to understand customer/sector challenges, propose SAP solutions to solve them and devise delivery models to achieve desired results
- Proven ability to shape/architect SAP solutions to customer needs
- A very high level of comfort in interacting with Client executives and an ability to actively engage them in meaningful dialogue throughout engagements
- Configure the system to meet the customer's requirements
+ Recognise potential for repeat and extended business with respect to end-to-end service offer by the business and provide comprehensive input. Support the business to grow by being alert to the customer opportunities that present themselves
+ Provide thought leadership and participate in industry forums, conduct roadshows, seminars, blog and participate in marketing activities to promote HCM product and solutions to customers and prospects
+ Engage in self-directed and other learning to keep pace with new technologies and developments to ensure we remain at the forefront of the market within which we operate. Share, use and communicate expert knowledge in order to develop others and make business processes more effective both internally and externally. Initiate and conduct expert networks; is responsible for the exchange of knowledge within their area, and the usability of that knowledge in other division

Required Skills:

+ Demonstrable expertise and experience in SAP Payroll product offer of full project life-cycle: requirements analysis, process design, blueprint documentation, specification of required developments, gap analysis, configuration, testing & production support
+ Expert in GB Payroll Schemas and Rules
+ Exposure to GB Public Sector Payroll
+ Led at least 2 full-cycle UK payroll implementations with at least 10 terms and conditions
+ Led multiple full-cycle implementations including mid-year go-lives
+ Working knowledge of mid-year payroll go-live
+ Implemented Payroll for at least 10000 employees including blue-collar and white-collar employees
+ Ability to configure the GB Payroll to suit the customer's needs
