Contract Network Support Engineer

Southampton, Hampshire

400-500pd DOE / 6 months+

As an established and trusted tech recruitment partner to this global financial services organisation we have been asked to assist in the hire of a Network Support Engineer

You will provide configuration, implementation, and support of the network infrastructure, covering the Data Centre, workspace, wide area network and cloud technologies, LAN switching and routing as well as Wi-Fi, firewalls, load balancers, proxies, traffic management and monitoring / management toolsets.

Key skills / environment

Cisco switches / routers networking

WAN services (point to point, VPN, MPLS)

Checkpoint Firewall

F5 Load balancers

Proxy appliances / services

WLAN / WAN

Remote access

Monitoring and management

Data Centre and on campus

Working in a team of 5-7 out of hours support on a rota.

This role may suit an individual who has held the following roles: Network Engineer, Network Support Engineer, Network Analyst
