Senior Systems Technical Lead | London | up to 50,000

Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently working with an international technology company, as they look to recruit a Senior Systems Technical Lead.

If you are competent and experienced with VMware, Active Directory, Windows Server, Office365 and cloud (Azure or AWS) technologies and have an aptitude for project management, wed like to hear from you today.  

With a direct reporting line to one of the Directors, you will also work with the server infrastructure team and coordinate work between internal departmental teams.

THE BASICS:

This is a fantastic hands-on role for an individual wanting to get involved in the configuration, delivery and coordination of a variety of IT projects.  

Our clients technology department is an internal IT business unit, providing a range of corporate IT services in a complex environment, to more than a dozen business units spread over 11 offices in the UK.  You will be part of a department that delivers several services to these business units; critical core IT back office infrastructure, business delivery systems, user support, information security management and consultancy with a mixture of on-premise enterprise hardware and cloud services.

Senior Systems and Technical Project Managers who have worked on acquisition integration projects, infrastructure and application rollouts, office moves, upgrades and consolidation projects will be of interest.

THE TECHNOLOGY:

Individuals with strong technical knowledge and experience in Windows Server and Desktop operating systems, coupled with VMWare knowledge and a methodical approach to problem solving and a tenacious attitude to completing projects should apply.

Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud technologies including Azure & Office 365 is vital; and if you can develop and configure solutions for technology projects by facilitating and gathering client requirements and managing stakeholder expectations, whilst driving, monitoring and reporting on project performance you will be sought after.

Any experience of working within an ISO27001 accredited environment and HP Blade and SAN with previous project management experience is likely to conclude with an immediate interview request.

THE INTERVIEW PROCESS:

Telephone Interview: 31st July or earlier

Face to Face Interview: 5th August onwards

THE CONCLUSION:

Were looking for a great communicator, with an ability to visualise the project from the perspective of the customer with a hands-on approach to finding technical solutions. Solid technical knowledge, experience and high levels of competency is also important.

Due to the nature of the work, you will need to be SC or at least be able / willing to go through the SC security clearance process.
