Migration Engineer

Duration: until end of December + scope

Location: Coventry

Rate:£300.00-340.00 per day

Key Skills:

* Summit Application consists of the core banking components (interfaces, Cobol, PLSQL, Oracle Forms and reports)

* Data Architecture: Production Oracle Databases, Core Banking database Data Volumes ~ 25 TB

* Application Architecture: Unix Operating System, Oracle Application Server, Oracle Database

* Confirm migration wave plan and grouping with the client and support the client Change Mgmt process

* Create MDD (Migration Design Document) for each move group as per the client 'Blueprint Process'

* Migrate the applications and data based on various migration methods (P2V, V2V, lift and shift, build from scratch, backup and restore, Platespin etc)

* Coordinate migration activity with 3rd parties, the client support team, Application Owners and Business Owners

* Testing (As per agreed scope)

* Early Life Support for migrated applications
