The Role

 In this role you will represent Sogeti UK by working on different client sites in a range of industries that include; telecoms, finance and leading technology companies. You will gain exposure to a variety of tools and technologies that will allow you to continuously develop as a subject matter expert in testing.

Your First Project at Sogeti UK will have the following key tasks & responsibilities:

Responsible for defining and implementing the approach to testing within the programme.

Work with the Test Leads and Programme's Project Managers to ensure that the testing is conducted in line with their strategic direction.

Assist in defining the test environment strategy for the programme.

Work with the suppliers and portfolio areas to ensure ongoing compliance to the customer's testing principles.

Lead the review of requirements, from a testing perspective.

Work with the customer's procurement team to ensure that any contracts with suppliers adequately consider testing and quality.

Identify the areas of testing risk; provide ongoing visibility of those to the programme management team.

Actively drive testing efficiency throughout the supply chain.

Provide ad hoc consultancy on testing as required.

Provide a consolidated view of test progress across all work streams during the preparation and execution phases.

 As a Programme Test Manager, we're looking for:

 Programme / Portfolio Test Management experience.

Previous experience of shaping, creating and implementing programme level test strategies.

Programme level quality assurance and providing strong test governance of dev partners/suppliers activities.

Excellent stakeholder communication skills, able to summarise a complicated data set into meaningful progress reports.

Previous experience of working on a cloud reporting migration E2E would be beneficial.

Previous experience of integrating Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Experience navigating around a complicated set of supplier relationships.

Experience with HP QC/ALM.

Flexibility on travel / work locations (working as a consultant could take you to customer sites across the UK!).

ISEB / ISTQB foundation or above certification.
