The Role:

As a Senior Network Engineer you will be responsible for designing and building secure network solutions. This consists of setting up and supporting a wide range of networking devices and trouble shooting routing protocol & WAN connections. You will be needing to configure QoS and policy based routing whilst delivering and extending IPT and collaboration services. Alongside this you will have the responsibility to build scalable remote networks whilst monitoring the network services too.

Key Responsibilities:

*Maintaining and extending the network infrastructure for the company.

*Within the existing network infrastructure you will provide 3rd line technical support whilst also being the technical lead for a number of core network technology areas.

*Provide design solutions and solution briefings on new technologies.

*Mentoring members of the team.

Skills and Experience Required:

*CNNP routing and switching as a minimum

*CISCO wireless networking using WLC and LAPs

*CISCO IP Telephony, CUCM, UCCX * CISCO Datacentre Nexus Switches

*Network Security, VPNs & CISCO ISE

*Checkpoint firewalls and F5 Load Balancers

*Azure Networking

*Network monitoring using Splunk, Netflow and prtg.

Benefits:

Starting salary of £50000 - £60,000 depending on experience
