+ Located in 25 countries. The SAP Finance Support Consultant Role: + The role will be split 60% hands on functional and 40% team lead
+ Lead team in delivering services in the Financial Transformation space and all new technologies across all these modules
+ Co-ordinate and manage the day-to-day activities of the team by monitoring and managing the distribution of the daily workload evenly
+ responsible for leading, motivating and overseeing the day-to-day management of a team of Managed Service Support Consultants; ensuring that the team provide a first class service to UK & Ireland customers This is a very customer focused, hands-on role where the Team Leader will be expected to work on customer tickets as well as undertake the day-to-day management aspects that the post requires. The ideal candidate will be able to encourage effective team working by seeking input from team members and will support team members (technically and operationally) in achieving continuous improvement by encouraging ideas and recommendations for procedural, operational and system improvements. About You: Candidate Profile/ Core competencies: + Broad SAP Finance and Controlling skills across HANA, ECC and EPM tools
+ Provide finance advice/guidance to customers in relation to statutory obligations i.e. ability to speak knowledgeably about finance processes with Finance professionals
+ Good integration skills the key functions SD, MM and PP together with any analytical tools used within the SAP landscape
+ Understand SAP offerings i.e. Concur, S4Hana, BPC and the Cloud products that going forward will be related/integrated with finance.
+ Ability to provide end to end business solutions.
+ Ability to oversee larger pieces of work.
+ Proven experience in a combined customer service handling / functional support role.
+ Experience within a consultant environment an advantage.
+ Good academic background with a degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Business Studies, Computing or relevant subject an advantage.
+ Experience of motivating and leading others or deputising in the team leader's absence.
+ Experience of providing structured feedback and coaching others.
+ High standard of communication both written and verbal.
+ Capable of managing own workload with minimal supervision to tight deadlines.
+ Able to prioritise and distribute team workload effectively.
+ Able to deal with challenging customer and resource issues in a professional and supportive manner and to see these through to resolution.
+ Keen to offer ideas and solutions to develop the AMS Functional Support function.
