Job Description

Designing and developing controls systems using TIA Portal and S7PLC programming, developing control systems and PLC automation software on projects from start to finish, FDS.HMI Programming in WinCC.Development, deployment and maintenance of Low Level Control (PLC) software for baggage handling system Projects, using the Beumer Std. Blocks and Libraries and tools.Create Emulation Model for Testing using Experior or Demo 3D.Conduct internal and external testing of software utilising Emulation system Help set-up and maintain development, test and production environmentCommissioning of the Airport Baggage Handling systemsCreate user documentation for software applications

Qualifications

Engineering DegreeHNC/HND with relevant experience in Siemens PLC Software development also acceptable3-4 years min in a similar role.Ideally worked on integrated Automation Systems in the Manufacturing or Distribution IndustriesPreferably worked on Airport Baggage Handling or Logistic Systems Controls Programing / Testing and Commissioning.Good experience in PLC and HMI programming.Preferably in Siemens 1500 PLC using TIA portalS7 300/400 PLC using Simatic STEP 7.Knowledge of Siemens Automation Products and communication Protocols like Profibus , Profinet , Asi , TcpIP etc.Reading / understanding of Electric drawing in (EPLAN )Reading / understanding AutoCAD drawingCSCSKnowledge of Safety Systems and standardsBasic user knowledge of IBM DOORS
