Would you like a role which allows you be hands-on, as well as developing your skills?A very well-established provider of machine safety systems is growing and has the capacity to take on an Electrical Engineer to join their forward-thinking family run business in Caerphilly. You would work alongside a senior engineer building electrical control panels following electrical schematics.You would also be involved the installation of electrical control systems and integrating newly installed systems into customer's existing machinery. In particular projects you would also get to implement electrical modifications to improve customer's machinery.As the business is enjoying a period of sustained success, they are growing their team and developing their product range. This will give you the opportunity to develop your own skills as the role progresses, with the potential to learn more in the areas of electrical design and controls programming.This position would suit you if you have experience in:Panel buildingElectrical installationUnderstanding of electrical schematicsThis role could offer you a salary of £28,000 - £35,000 plus a company van, laptop & mobile, and a discretionary annual bonus scheme. You would be travelling to customer sites and may need to stay overnight two or three nights a week, for which you will receive additional payments which could total an extra £3,500 a year.
