BasingstokeWe're looking for a Procurement Bid Manager to join our leading Defence IT Services + Solutions provider based in Basingstoke. Acting as the Senior Point of Contact for the Defence business, working on bids of over £/EUR15million, you'll be vital in ensuring that the future procurement of goods and services achieve optimum value for money in delivering the corporate objectives. Responsibilities include:Support the Bid Team & represent Procurement with attendance at all internal and external meetings and represent Procurement at the internal governance reviews (as appropriate)Act as a SPOC for the Defence business and the link into the wider Procurement TeamAssisting Bid teams in responding to Tender questions relating to ProcurementDefining and negotiating NDA's and Teaming AgreementsLeverage bid specific deals (pricing & terms) across the wider EMEIA businessManagement of all 3rd party activity throughout the Bid from inception to delivery into live environmentPro-actively make available and promote re-use of Procurement collateral, tools & templatesEnsure development and usage of the new PBM toolset to manage and record information on each event (bid)Essential Skills: Experience of working in the bid environment in the Defence sectorProcurement skills (specifically negotiation, tendering and contracting) and commercial experience.Building relationships at all levels - supplier base, internally and in a customer facing capacityTypically qualified to degree level or equivalentCommunication skills (specifically business writing and presentation)Fluent in English written and oralDesirable Skills:MCIPSAribaCustomer solution lifecycle (CLSC) and bid management processes What we offerThe reward for the right candidate is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding organisation offering excellent long-term career prospects, as well as a competitive salary and full company benefits.
