Role: Validation Engineer

Location: Westport Co Mayo

Contract: 6 months

3rd Level Qualification with within science or engineering

12 months working in industry. Preferably with Electronic Systems experience

Working knowledge of both Equipment & Facility Qualification

Comprehensive understanding of Validation principles and practice

Very good working knowledge of Validations practices, ASTM and relevant EU/FDA regulations.

A proven track record that demonstrates the ability to work without direct supervision whilst maintaining adherence to project delivery is fundamental to the role

Knowledge of steam sterilisation and other sterilisation processes an advantage.

What will you be doing?You will be involved with ensuring that all performance qualification (PQ) requirements are documented and successfully tested. This will also include maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of EMA and FDA regulatory requirements. You will be participating in the various project meetings and support the project team in all project related topics. Another aspect of this role is the equipment familiarisation, validation protocol writing and test execution, deviation management and vendor supervision. You will be interacting with other departments to ensure that validation projects are appropriately planned, executed and delivered in a timely manner. There will also be participation in FATs when required with audit support.
