Electrical design engineer role where you'll work on bespoke automotive designs in a modern, innovative environment.Are you an electrical design engineer with experience in the automotive industry designing circuit diagrams and CAN based control systems (CAN bus)? Established over 100 years ago this company design and manufacture a variety of specialist vehicles for a range of applications across the globe. Having invested millions into a state-of-the-art site they are currently seeking an electrical design engineer to continue their future expansion plans.This is a hands-on role designing, developing and troubleshooting all electrical/electronic aspects such as control systems, wiring harnesses and other systems. You'll look at existing products and prototype new components/assemblies working closely with other departments to continually improve the design process and problem solve issues.The ideal candidate will be an electrical design engineer from the automotive industry with experience of designing CAN-based control systems and associated electrical/electronic parts and systems.With impressive growth spanning over a century this company are continuing to pioneer new technology and will offer the right person fantastic career prospects coupled with a competitive package.The Role:

*Electrical design and development of specialist vehicles

*Involved in design projects from concept to completion

*Existing Product design and developing prototypes

*Problem solving and continuous improvements

*Working closely with other departments to ensure specs and timescales are metThe Person:

*Electrical Design Engineer

*Experience of using 2D/3D Design packages

*Experience of designing circuits and CAN bus systems

*Willing to develop as an engineer and undertake further training
