As part of its next-generation Elektron Data Platform (EDP), the client are looking to push the boundaries of development and design, using the latest industry standard technologies and techniques to build an exciting new UI that will showcase the platform's data distribution capabilities both internally and externally.Location - Nottingham (with frequent travel to London)

Duration - 6 Months

Pay - £650 - £700Looking for a Lead - who would be working extensively with the offshore team,Skills Accomplished technologist with previous successes delivering cloud-native, web-based UI's on one of the major vendor cloud platformsExtensive background in web-based product UI design and development - across product definition, software development, production implementation and support operations.Strong experience in developing web-based, front-end applications using JavaScript.Extensive knowledge of Single Page App development and Object-Oriented JavaScript ProgrammingExtensive experience in JavaScript technologies including, but not limited to NodeJS, Vanilla JavaScript ES5/ES6/ES7+ and strong knowledge of web frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue, etc.Extensive experience with latest web standards, including HTML5, CSS3.Strong sense of web design and fundamentals of user experience and ability to write reusable, modular and high performing code.Working knowledge of RESTful API, AJAX, JSON, XML.Robust experience applying best practice Agile software development methodologies and values.Experience leading and working with multiple teams (internal or external) that may have differing priorities and working/cultural practices. Experience effectively manage team conflicts and building collaborative partnerships with stakeholdersExperience planning and estimating development work and running costs (costs, timescales and resources) for the successful completion of each project to agreed scope and constraints.Experience preparing, maintaining and tracking delivery plans for a portfolio of projects and resourcesExperience implementing effective communication plans, reporting and operating rhythmAbility to write reusable, modular and high performing code.
