Coventry - salary up to £48,000 + enhanced pension, 25 days holiday, plus more.We are currently recruiting for a Lead Service Designer to join our large public sector client in Coventry to design, deliver and enhance a comprehensive universal joined up, end to end service supporting people throughout England.
The Service Designer will maintain the operating model, including identifying and accommodating emerging needs, modelling and monitoring customer's journeys and mapping change to business process and delivery. This includes designing the environment, standards, patterns and structures to support better service design by everyone.This is a senior role in one of the largest government departments working on some of the most interesting and important design challenges.Essential Criteria An experienced service designer with a strong user centred design practitioner background, skilled in designing good services, helping others to do so and leading organisational changeExperience and evidence of designing or re-designing services to be more effective or efficientGood knowledge of digital approaches and technology to understand how services can work better, able to help others expand their knowledgePrototype services or parts of them, facilitate groups of people to contribute effectively to re-design, and create diagrams and sketches that clearly communicate services or situationsCommunicate clear rationale and evidence base for proposals or design decisions, work effectively with and influence a wide range of stakeholdersHave a related degree and/or relevant industry experience If you feel as though you're a good fit for this role, or would like to find out more, please click apply to receive more information from our team!
