Salary £33,199 - £35,211 The best services for students and staff. The latest digital technology. Deliver both at our unique University.  With 17,000 students at campuses across Kent, Canterbury Christ Church University is a successful and inspiring institution that's always striving for progress.  Our IT Department is responsible for supporting the University with high quality IT services and, right now, it's adopting exciting new technology to transform our digital systems.  It all adds up to a fantastic environment for skilled IT professionals: a place where you can bring your skills to the fore, drive innovation and grow your knowledge and experience.  As an enthusiastic and positive hands-on IT Integration Support Analyst, you'll join a mid-size professional team that provides a high-quality service to its customers and your role will provide the link between operations and development, facilitating the transferal of knowledge of new solutions and enhancements to an operational environment.  There are initiatives underway to transform our digital environments using Azure Services and Azure DevOps tools to drive automation.  You'll join us on this journey as we move from a traditional on-premise operation to a ‘serverless infrastructure as code' environment and gain experience and knowledge in using and supporting cloud-based services. This is a chance to ensure that 20,000 staff and students get outstanding IT services.  As a lead Integration Support Specialist, you'll provide expert 2nd line support for all University business application systems.  It means you'll have a key role in resolving complex incidents, as well as responsibility for working with the Development team in transitioning new developments into service delivery.  Your work will involve investigations into applications and integrations and analysing complex operational processes and services to appraise technical risks and make technical recommendations and, naturally, you'll be lending your expertise to our wider Application Support team. To maximise the availability, resilience and functionality of our systems, you'll need experience of software development processes and exposure to high-level programming languages (e.g. C#, Java) and experience in TSQL to investigate and discover where improvements can be made. You should also be familiar with messaging protocols, service-orientated architectures and extract, transform and load approaches, with a proven ability to explain technical concepts. Your expertise will be based on a degree or equivalent experience plus a natural interest in technology and data. And at the heart of your talents will be strong motivation and the drive to do the best as part of a team. We work in a flexible working environment that promotes diversity and equal opportunity, and where you can learn, train and keep up to date with the latest developments in technology.
