Our client are currently recruiting for a Research & Development Project Leader. The R&D Project Leader will lead and manage multiple in-house and/or third party product development projects across company sites to obtain product/solution/services within specifications, at cost, and on targets.Role: Project scope management with project sponsors and product manager. You will ensure project scope reflects in the Business plan, Market Requirement Documents and Product Specification Documents.Integration Management: Involve internal and external stakeholders (customers) for formulation of design goals and product specifications/requirements and communicate throughout project execution)Management of timelines: for all activities keep launch commitment on target, and for project tasks, ensure detailed project plan and status reports are up to standardManage resources required for the project (train/supervise technicians including lab workload planning).Management of project risks: Product and project risk assessmentsQuality: Ensure quality of project team outcomes and regulatory complianceCommunication management: make sure project plans, status reports, Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) are communicated with and disseminated.Project Procurement Management: Early detection of deficits and supply agreements for rare materials and reagents (bill of materials in the ERP system)Tasks and deliverables:The Research and Development Project Leader will Develop assay protocols, Standard Operating Procedures together with the functional experts assigned to the project teamElaborate and implement work breakdown structure and tasks for the detailed project plan completing the default standardsThe Project Leader will lead a cross-functional project team, continuously define and get the knowledge and functional contributions from Product Management, Technology, Quality, manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs and Project Management etc.Implement co-operation lines with external partners/third parties (if required)Supervise on time availability of materials and reagents, especially appropriate samplesPrepare customer feedbacks, testing, and clinical evaluation together with Project ManagementCoordinate contributions of co-operating functional units and 3rd parties and capture aligned tasks in a cross-functional project plan Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:Ideally a degree in Scientific discipline or proven track record and practical experience in a similar roleProfessional experience ideally gained within Immuno Assay Development for automated systems across disciplinesPeople management experience including leading cross-functional teamsStrong and proven track record in business Project Management and Change ManagementSkills & KnowledgeProven track record to manage programs and projects in global organizations across distance, culture, and technologyProven capability to enable leadership in complex situationsProven track record on realization of design to cost product lines and productsExcellent communication skills, negotiation skills and conflict management skillsProficiency utilizing MS Office tools and portfolio/project management solutionsKnowledge of relevant biochemical methods and technologiesThorough knowledge of regulatory requirements for new products.ExperienceCoaching of project teams in integration management, change management, program managementBuild efficient and strong relationships with business project stakeholders, and project portfolio stakeholders, functions and project leaders/teamsStrong collaborator who can work efficiently with other in matrix environment, knows how to use formal and informal networks to drive timely and measurable resultsAbility to influence with and without authority Strong experiences in developing and delivering training and coaching for individuals/teamsHigh cultural awareness and proven ability to work with a wide range of culturesInternational of global business experience is strongly recommended To find out more about Real please visit www.realstaffing.comReal Staffing, a trading division of SThree Partnership LLP is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy| Registered office | 1st Floor, 75 King William Street, London, EC4N 7BE, United Kingdom | Partnership Number | OC387148 England and Wales
