Programme Manager - Central London.Programme Manager - Digital & Service Design3-month contract, £350 per day Our client, The UK's leading young people charity, are looking for a Programme Manager to assist in establishing a new in the organisation. You will ensure that Digital and Service Design Programmes and Projects are managed and controlled so that delivery is achieved successfully: on-time, on-budget and to requirements. Ultimately your work will help improve the lives of thousands of young people allowing them to gain the support they need to help get a job, start a business and conclusively unlock their potential. Key deliverables:Define, develop, monitor, maintain and manage the project delivery life cycle from inception to launch to ongoing maintenance and development for an entire portfolio of projects.Simultaneously manage multiple programme and project streams to delivery prioritising them against our organisational strategy and resource availabilityDevelop and support the development of business cases, initiation documents, requirement specifications, financial and resource plans, and all other artefacts required to support the approval and delivery of programme and projects.Successfully manage a team of project managers working with others including developers and test analysts.Resolve high-level issues relating to programme and project delivery - minimising risks and maximising efficiency by exercising strict control and oversight of financials, and resource utilisationDefine project governance model and facilitate governance through effective communications and efficiently run meetings.Coach and support project managers and third parties in the application of their duties to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. You will have a proven track record in demonstrating the following:Extensive Digital Programme / Portfolio and Project Management experience including risk management and change control.Understanding of IT Infrastructure and its application within a non-profit environment.Ability to move project team members towards 'real-time' optimisation based on dataExperience working with design and systems thinking frameworks and human-centred design.Excellent coaching and mentoring skills able to mentor and coach teams in agile processes and tools. Desirable:MSP certificationRecognised project or programme management qualification (Prince2, Scrum)Workshop facilitation experience Programme Manager
