Job Title: Junior Ruby-on-Rails Full Stack DeveloperOrganisation the work is for: Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) - part of BEISSecurity Clearance: Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance required. BEIS will sponsor this if necessary.Essential skills and experience:Demonstrate your experience in developing responsive web applications using Ruby-on-Rails and in line with our tech stack or equivalent (5%)
Demonstrate your experience in working with UX design teams to develop prototypes into full production code (5%)
Demonstrate your experience in working with QA testers to follow automated and manual testing regimes to ensure that code is fully tested before live deployment (5%)
Demonstrate your experience in working with CI/CD toolchains to deploy code into live (5%)
Demonstrate your experience in fixing bugs and service issues quickly to minimise user disruption (5%)
Demonstrate your experience in working with and designing services that meet the GDS Digital Service Standard and how this was successfully delivered. (3%)
Demonstrate your experience in working with GOV.UK tools e.g. PaaS, Notify. (2%)Note: Must have all the skills mentioned above
