My client is looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer to act as the SME for the UK business. You will work in conjunction with teams based in the USA supporting the global infrastructure, providing a UK presence for all matters relating to Network SecurityYour main duties will include;
• Troubleshooting, installing, implementing, and administering network security systems and providing tier III support
• Manage, configure, administer, and document firewall infrastructure.
• Manage, configure, administer, and document load balancing technologies (F5 or equivalent)
• Present the changes made at the weekly change review meetings and update network diagrams and all other applicable documents.
Required Skills;
• Hands on expertise with Fortinet Next Gen Firewalls - equivalent firewall exposure will as be considered
• Configuration and support of F5 load balancers (or equivalent)
• Advanced skills in TCP/IP concepts, switching, routing protocols Layer 2, Layer 3 protocols
• Network protocols (OSPF, BGP, VLAN, VPc, TCP/IP, etc).
