The RoleYou will be joining the mainframe team, tasked with the support and maintenance of two, large scale IBM mainframe systems. This is a 24/7 operation, requiring full teams present to ensure completion of running batch runs overnight. Support will include reception, resolution and escalation (where appropriate) of faults to ensure continued uptime.
Responsibilities Run, monitor and provide support at a first line level to batch schedules.Ensure continued uptime and availability in accordance with service level agreements.Understand and execute appropriate call out/escalation, to allow for timely resolution of major incidents.Correct and accurate documentation to ensure best practice.Key Skills Familiarity and usage of IBM Mainframe technology, including JCL and TWS/Unix.Exposure to working within a support environmentThe Company
